I’ve been seeing a lot on TV about this phenomenon where Iguana’s have been falling out of trees because the temperature here in Florida has dropped below 40 degrees. For some reason, I find this completely hilarious. Thats why I’m happy to announce the launch of a new blog called: FallingIguana.com

But don’t worry, these frozen iguanas will come back to life after the weather warms up a bit.

I’m a huge supporter of these TEA parties that have spontaneously started recently. I’m not just talking about the Tax Day Tea Party that is going on tomorrow (although, I whole-heartedly support them as well), but the ones like in Orlando and across the country where 6000 people came out to declare that they have had enough of being ignored by their political representatives and have decided to take peaceful action.

There shouldn’t be any secret that I’m pissed at how our new government is treating us. Democrats say, “We won the election, we wrote the bill..” Well, I’m sorry to tell you, but this is still my country too, and I will do what I can to keep you from destroying it in your attempt to have your “progressive” agenda implemented.

I don’t know how many times I’ve sat in my office fuming over how the government seems to take the attitude of indifference. I’ve complained to everyone who will listen about how the Congress and the President can seemingly do whatever they want despite almost 50% opposition to their agenda. They are supposed to be representing EVERYONE, not just those that supported them during the last election.

So, for this reason, I am encouraging everyone that reads this to attend a tea party in your area (check the Tax Day Tea Party site for a list of cities that are participating). Make your voice heard. The time for the “silent majority” is over… Its time to get vocal, or you deserve what you get.

I’ve always liked Steve Wozniak, Apple’s co-founder. He’s a jolly fellow and with all due respect, is a Geek’s Geek. While Steve Jobs gets all the credit for starting Apple Computers, it was Woz that is credited for actually building the Apple I and Apple II which contributed to the “personal computer revolution.”

Now Steve takes to the airwaves on “Dancing with the Stars” and needs all our geek voices to keep him dancing. Everyone go to: http://www.votewoz.com and show your support for this lovable guy. Vote early and vote often!

I suppose by now, you know who I’m voting for… if not, here is a video that I believe sums up the reason I’m voting for John McCain:

I had a pretty heated discussion at work today about how “fair” it is for “rich” people to pay a higher percentage of their income soley because they have more money… For some reason, I have a serious problem with it. Sure, I have a healthy dose of envy for “rich” people with multiple homes and cars… but at the same time, I don’t really see it as being fair that they are forced to pay a larger percentage of their income in taxes…

Looks like the Senate just re-served the Crap Sandwich that the House served up, but instead of fundamentally changing it, they  just added a few strips of bacon to it… For those that haven’t seen some of the pork added to the “Bail-Out” Bill, here is a few:
