Merry Christmas One And All..

I’d just like to wish everyone a joyous holiday. I have my tree up, presents wrapped, and I’m finishing up my cleaning. My son should be in town some time around dinner time, so I have plenty of time to goof off.

I just got a couple of text messages wishing me a Merry Christmas… so I’m going to try sending out a bulk text message to all my co-workers and friends… isn’t technology great?

Being alone for the holidays sucks.

As we’re winding down the Christmas holiday, I can’t help but feel a tiny bit lonely. With these many days off, I should have went on a trip, or did something fun, but all I am doing is sitting around the house and cleaning. Sure, I guess that is a good thing, atleast I am productive, but it certainly doesn’t make a very good story to tell.

This weekend update.

I’m on the train right now reflecting on this weekend. It started off my company Christmas party on Friday and ended with the NY Giants losing to the Washington Redskins.

“Expect delays of 10 to 60 minutes…”

“… due to an accident not involving the train.”

That was the announcement that was heard about an hour ago while waiting for the evening train. I’m currently waiting along with probably 50-75 other commuters as we wait for word on when the train will arrive.
