Wings and Beer… without the beer.
Wednesday, January 24th, 2007Yesterday, we took my good friend out to Hooters for his birthday. Ordinarily, we’ll order a pitcher of beer, get a batch of 50 wings (wet and nekkid) and chow down. But being that we’re having this “biggest loser” weight-loss competition at the office, I chose to just have about 10 wings and a glass of water. I also ate a few celery stocks.. It was good, and I didn’t feel guilty about it.
Then last night, I went out and played basketball with some folks from work. I guess “played” is a bit of an overstatement… I just ran around trying to play basketball..
I then went home, had a couple of pieces of wheat bread with a tablespoon of peanut butter on them.
After all that, I still had a bit of energy, so I walked 1.5 miles afterward.
Yeah, I can’t imagine that I’d keep this up, but I felt like doing it, so I did. Good for me.
